LITTLE FOODIES PANEL GIVE THEIR STAMP OF APPROVAL TO OUR NEW KIDS MENU

When we were getting ready to launch our new Bird & Bell restaurant we knew we wanted to make sure our kids menu was as appealing to our little guests as it was to their parents.  Taste, choice and healthy options were top of our agenda and we are delighted to unveil our all new Explorers Kids Menu.

The Bird & Bell has the same inviting, relaxed ethos that the Redhurst is renowned for, but we now offer guests a totally new contemporary menu complete with an exciting new children's food offering.

To ensure their children's menu appealed to even the harshest of little critics, we were delighted to welcome a panel of discerning Little Foodies to help test drive the menu.

Junior guests visiting us can look forward to creating their own pizza combos, decorating their ice cream sundaes with their favourite toppings and even selecting from a pick and mix brunch menu, which will provide children with the opportunity to select their favourite items ‘picnic’ style to provide a more relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for the whole family.

The panel of six Little Foodies carried out ‘taste tests’ across the entire menu and have given their official stamp of approval for the final menu, much to the delighted of our Redhurst Kitchen Crew.

Lesley Smith, General Manager at The Redhurst commented:

“We were not previously known for our children’s' food options, so we wanted to make sure the new menu was on point - and who better to taste test and give us their honest feedback than children themselves."

“It was really important to us that we got the family food offering right in the new Redhurst Hotel and the feedback we’ve had since launch day from parents and kids alike has been amazing."

Poppy Ure aged 7 from The Little Foodies panel said:

“We tried a lot of dishes and tried to think of our favourite things to eat when we are out with our families and friends. We picked the ultimate mac n cheese and even a sweetie topped ice cream sundae. We think other children are going to love it!”

The Explorers menu is available 7 days a week in The Bird & Bell restaurant from 10am to 8pm. Children will receive a Little Explorers passport to be stamped each time they eat at the hotel, and they will receive a free brunch meal after they have collected six stamps.
